WELCOME to the ZAN project!<\/strong><\/p> ZAN \u2013 Acquired hearing loss in the Zebrafish model: investigating the mechanisms underlying Aging and Noise effects on the vertebrate auditory system<\/span><\/strong><\/p> \u6591\u99ac\u9b5a\u6a21\u578b\u7684\u807d\u529b\u640d\u5931\uff1a\u8001\u5316\u4ee5\u53ca\u566a\u97f3\u5728\u810a\u690e\u52d5\u7269\u7684\u807d\u89ba\u7cfb\u7d71\u88f9\u5f71\u97ff\u6a5f \u5236\u7684\u63a2\u8a0e<\/p><\/div><\/div> Objectives: This project aims to 1) to examine the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying noise induced hearing loss; 2) to investigate the genetic modulation of age-related hearing loss; and 3) to evaluate how aging and exposure to noise interact causing hearing dysfunction in the zebrafish model. <\/span><\/p> Relying on a variety of\u00a0electrophysiology,\u00a0immunohistochemistry, imaging, genetic and and behavioral techniques. this project provides an opportunity to gain a comprehensive knowledge on the underlying mechanisms of auditory dysfunction in vertebrates.
